Becoming a Member
Four Convenient Ways to Become a Member:
- To mail, open the Membership Form. Fill out the form online (See instructions below) and mail along with the membership fee (check, Purchase Order, or Credit Card #) to Curriculum Design for Excellence, Inc. P.O. Box 4505, Oak Brook, IL 60522.
- To fax, print the Membership Form. Fill out the form online (See instructions below) and fax it to 630-325-3281. The original subscription form and fee (check, Purchase Order, or credit card #) must be received within ten days of fax in order to guarantee your Membership. Please indicate on the form that a fax of the original has been sent.
- To register online, click Become a Member Now. You will choose a User Name and Password that will be located on the confirmation page. Please print the confirmation page for your records.
- To phone, call (630) 852-8863. We accept Visa, MasterCard, & Discover. Please have your completed Membership form and credit card information ready when you call. If paying by check or Purchase Order, the payment must be received within ten days of phone call to guarantee your membership.
How do I fill out the Membership Form online?
- Position the cursor inside a form field. The I-beam cursor allows you to type text; the arrow cursor allows you to select the field, checkbox, radio button, or a choice from a list.
- After entering text or selecting an item, checkbox, or radio button, press tab to accept the entered data and go to the next field in the page. Use the scrollbar to move from one page to the next.
- Once you have filled in the appropriate fields, use the Acrobat print function to print out the document.
To clear a form in a browser window:
Exit the Acrobat viewer and start again.
Note: Selecting the Reload or Back button in the browser does not clear the form.
What is the membership fee?
As an individual: $25.00 per month - 3 month minimum or $300.00 annually
For a school building: $45.00 per month - 3 month minimum or $540 annually
If you have attended Dr. Taylor's week long writing institutes:
As an individual: $15.00 per month - 3 month minimum or $180.00 annually
For a school building: $35.00 per month - 3 month minimum or $420.00 annually
$1,495.00 provides unlimited on-line access for School Districts or Educational Centers such as ESCs, BOCES, etc.
Is there a minimum membership?
Yes, there is a three (3) month minimum membership.
What type of payment methods do we accept?
We accept Purchase Orders, checks, or Visa/MasterCard/Discover. Please be sure to include a check, Purchase Order, or Visa/MasterCard account number with your membership form.
When will you receive your User ID and Password?
If you register online using a credit card, you will create your own username and password. You will receive a confirmation email once the online registration form is submitted. Click the link in the email to confirm your membership. You will then be able to immediately sign in on the website to browse and download curriculum units. Registering online with a credit card is the fastest option.
If you register online using a Purchase Order, select PO on the registration form. Once the online form is submitted, your information will be processed and an invoice will be sent to you.
If you register by fax or phone, a username will be assigned and emailed to you on the same day. Once you receive your username and password, you will have immediate full access to browse and download curriculum units. New members may contact us if they want to change their assigned username and password.

How many curriculum units can you download?
As many as you like. We do not charge for curriculum units. You can search for and print as many curriculum units as you like...24 hours per day....7 days per week.
